Living in Wales I have the luxury of being able to go up Snowdon when it is not so crowded - basically when the train (an old steam cog railway) is not running because the cog rail is still full of ice. This one was taken on a nice day in January 2013. You can see Anglesey with Newborough beach in the north, the estuary of Porthmadog in the south and Llyn Peris, the lake of Llanberis (that is where the main path up Snowdon starts) as well as Llyn Llydaw at the foot of Sonwdon. The valley with the little streams is where the Watkins path leads up to Snowdon.
